More STEM education at Granville! Thank you to Saratoga Robotics for coming to Granville CSD this week! Ms. Suzanne is a NYS Elementary Ed teacher from Saratoga County with a passion for educational technology. The kids are learning to solve problems together, design and build a robot, think through challenges while getting along and they are also getting ready for a robot driving competition on "Mars" at the end of the week! Enjoy a sneak peek into this summer classroom! Thank you to Granville PTO Board Member, Meghan Steves for working with the district to bring this program to our students.
Robotics and Virtual Reality at Summer Academy! We have visiting educators at GES providing meaningful technology experiences for our students.
The colored squares tell the robot car which direction to turn, helping kiddos learn the basics of coding, solve problems, and develop thinking skills.
The virtual reality explorations showcased the night sky and other educational "trips" to new worlds for Granville students.
Our students are playing, learning and having fun. Thank you to WSWHE BOCES, Laurie Guyon and her team for visiting our district.

Fall sports will be starting next month and all students MUST have an updated physical on file with Mrs. Hover, our school Nurse. Drop-in Garden Adventures are happening at GES this summer, in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension and Ag & Food Systems educator Ms. Linda. These special summer classes for grades 3-6 occur on Wednesdays from 11am to 11:45 at the GES garden (side of the building) ending on Aug 28th. To participate please email lsl64@cornell.edu. Reminder: If your child is enrolled in the Summer Academy (UPK- entering grade 7), it begins this Tuesday, 7/9, at 8:00 at GES. Classes run T, W, Th from 8-11.
Summer Enrichment for those who signed up for week one begins tomorrow, 7/8 at GES from 12-3.
