See you tomorrow for the last week before the Holiday Recess 12/23 - 1/3.
Did you know a regular attendance routine helps your child make steady progress in school and prepares them for life?
Why?
At the elementary level, a regular attendance routine is essential for learning how to read, do basic math and make friends.
In the Jr/Sr High, a regular attendance routine lays the groundwork for mastering important life skills of being on time, getting and keeping a job and taking advantage of all the FREE CAREER AND JOB PLANNING opportunities Granville CSD has to offer that lead to independence and financial stability.
Here is a hand out to help you know how sick is too sick for school.
If you're ever not sure, please call the nurse in your student's building and they can help.
Looking forward to seeing your kids in school tomorrow!

Surprise! 7th graders who passed all their classes in the first quarter were given a mysterious Golden Ticket today and then invited to bring their ticket to Ms. Nephew’s Agricultural class, where they were met with a surprise ice cream sundae and silly prize party. Principal Duell provided an encouraging word and delicious ice cream was dished out by the Dean of Students, Mr. Nassivera. Keep going students! #gohorde #granvilleny #granvillecsd

We hope you had a nice break! We are looking forward to seeing your students tomorrow.
Did you know that at in our elementary schools, a lot of our academics happen in the morning?
Consider sending your students in 10-15 minutes early to have a free breakfast and fuel up for the day. All three buildings serve breakfast and it's a great way to help your students arrive on time and start the week off right.
See you tomorrow! #granvilleCSD #gohorde
We are Thankful! We thank...
Our students and their families who do their best to show up to class every day even when it isn’t easy.
Our teachers who have gone above and beyond to help make school a welcoming learning environment where students can thrive.
Our administrators who help us work together to ensure we are healthy and safe, feel a sense of community and experience the excitement of an engaging learning environment.
Our many, many helpers - the support staff and community volunteers who provide the extra hands and attention our children need.
Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving recess!
