Jr/Sr High Families: Here is the final exam schedule for June 2026. As a reminder, the last day of school for 7th and 8th grade is June 16th.

GES Parents & Guardians: We Need Your Input!

The District is looking for two parent/guardian volunteers to join the interview committees for the new GES Principal on Monday, June 1st, 2026.

We need one parent volunteer per time slot:

Committee #1: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (in-person at GCSD)

Committee #2: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (in-person at GCSD)

Today is School Budget Vote Day: If you are a Granville CSD taxpayer, please vote in the Granville Senior High Gym today Tuesday, May 19th. Voting opened at 10:00 AM and closes at 8:00 PM. (Please enter by the back gym entrance, by the track). Enjoy the art display in the gym too and consider attending the Senior High Band and Chorus concert at 6:30 PM to cheer on our students.

6th Grade Families Reminder: Tonight, Monday, May 18th is the 6th Grade Transition Night: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM at the Jr/Sr High. Bring the whole family and come learn what to expect in 7th grade, meet current Jr/Sr High students, receive a tour of the building and get to know staff. This is a great opportunity to prepare your students to do well in 7th grade and learn how to take advantage of school programs. Students must attend with a guardian, thank you. We hope to see your family this evening.

An Update Regarding Granville Elementary Leadership

Dear GES Families,

As we move into the final months of the school year, I am writing to share an update regarding our leadership team. Principal Ten Eyck will be concluding her time with Granville at the end of June as she transitions to a new position in another district.

While we are sad to see her leave, we are grateful for the dedication, care, and hard work she has invested in our students, staff, and school community. We wish her all the best in this next chapter and look forward to celebrating the remainder of the school year together and finishing strong at GES.

I understand that Ms. Ten Eyck has been a steady and trusted presence for many of our families and staff. Please know that our priority remains maintaining the stability, support, and positive environment that our students experience each day.

We have already posted the principal opening, and our search process will be thorough and intentional. We are committed to finding a leader who not only demonstrates excellence but is also the right fit for the Granville community and the GES team. While we recognize that this comes later in the hiring cycle, we will not rush the process or settle for just any candidate. Our focus is on finding the best long-term fit for our students, staff, and families.

We will continue to keep you informed as the search progresses. Thank you for your continued support of our students, our staff, and our school community.
