The Transportation Department:

• Covers 89 square miles daily with 25 vehicles and 42 bus runs.

• Employs approximately 33 people including drivers, monitors, attendants, mechanics, and a nurse.

• Currently travels 1,140 miles daily. That's 205,200 miles per year - just transporting students to and from school. 

• Transports approximately 750 students daily. 

• Transports students to schools in Albany, Saratoga, Glens Falls, South Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, and Fort Ann as well as various field trips, sports competitions, and other school-sponsored events.
