Interested in free music lessons this summer?

Here is what the interest form says:

Dear Band Parents & Students:

We are pleased to inform you that the Granville School District may have the opportunity to provide free music lessons to our students again this summer!

Lessons would be open to any current band student from 5th to 11th grade and will be one on one or given in small groups depending on the level of interest. Summer lessons are open to all ability levels and will be tailored to individual needs. Students who wish to learn a secondary instrument for jazz ensemble are also encouraged to sign up.

Our proposed schedule is every Tuesday in July (7/1, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29). Lessons will be 30 minutes each and scheduled for morning and early afternoon. Both Ms. Coons and Mrs.Stout will be available for instruction. Students will be expected to have their own transportation. They will also be expected to attend all five lessons though we understand summer plans may conflict, please let us know in advance if you will need to miss one of the above dates.

To help us plan, please fill out and return the attached form to your music teacher by March 28, 2025 if you are interested in participating.
