Warrensburg CSD to Host Public Forum
To Discuss Regional Rural Issues
Tuesday, January 14, at 6:00 p.m.

Warrensburg Elementary School
1 James Street, Warrensburg, NY 12885

Warrensburg, NY – The Warrensburg Central School District (WCSD) is hosting a public forum to discuss regional rural issues on Tuesday, January 14, at 6:00 p.m.

It will be held at the Warrensburg Elementary School, located 1 James Street, Warrensburg, NY 12885.

Though WCSD is the host, this public forum is open to all community members, stakeholders, and school administrators in the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES region.

Mr. David Little, Executive Director of the Rural Schools Association of NYS (RSA), will present information on the state of our rural schools. Attendees will then have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion, offer their thoughts, and share the challenges and issues faced by rural schools and the communities which support them. At a later date, the feedback and ideas will be reviewed by a NYS-wide task force of experts, and it will be included in a policy/brief/advocacy platform to be presented to national and NYS leaders.

RSVP’s are not required and there is not cost to attend due to the generous sponsorship from New York Schools Insurance Reciprocal (NYSIR).
